Looking for a new challenge? The Beaver Creek Lift Maintenance Team is looking for a dedicated, hard working individual to join their team! This position works closely with senior technicians for the upkeep and management of our 22 chairlifts throughout Beaver Creek Resort. The Entry Lift Electrician duties include, but are not limited to:




+ Responsible for assuring lifts are in compliance with CPTSB and ANSI B.77 regulations and in accordance with industry Standards and Practice. This includes NEC codes.

+ Responsible for following Vail Resorts Safety and Risk management policies and procedures.

+ Assure the Lift Maintenance Manager is immediately informed and consulted on any abnormal or unusual conditions

+ Responsible for performing all routine and assigned maintenance procedures under the guidance of Maintenance and Senior Electronic Technicians.

+ Responsible for recording all information of work performed on lifts and submitting to dispatch in a timely manner

+ Fabrication and maintenance of electronic circuits as required

+ Responsible for upkeep of system procedures and electrical schematics

+ Assist in the ongoing training and support of apprentices, and seasonal lift operations

+ Provided a lift can be moved safely, be able to evacuate a lift under standby power following approved procedures.

+ Responsible for shops and numerous mountain locations, upkeep, spare parts, housekeeping.

+ Work week: 4/10hr shifts

+ Other duties as assigned





**Qualifications:**




+ HS Diploma or equivalent _- required_

+ Able to read, write and speak English fluently _- required_

+ Two years previous electrical experience _- preferred_

+ Possess a valid US Driver's License _- required_

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office _- required_

+ Knowledge of AC & DC Drives, AC & DC Motors, up to 1000 HP, PLC _- preferred_

+ Able to work at heights up to 100 feet _- required_

+ Able to lift up to 100 lbs _- required_

+ Able to work outside in inclement weather _- required_

+ Able and willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as necessary _- required_
