**Looking for a new challenge? The Beaver Creek Lift Maintenance Team is looking for skilled, hard working individuals to join their team! This position works closely with senior technicians and the Maintenance Manager for the upkeep and management of our 22 chairlifts throughout Beaver Creek Resort.** **The responsibilities of the Intermediate Automation technician / Lift Electronics Technician at Beaver Creek include, but are not limited to:**



+ Responsible for maintaining ski lift networking system for real time monitoring of chairlifts

+ Responsible for maintaining AC/DC drive systems and 480vac 3-phase power distribution.

+ Responsible for programming and maintaining, upgrading HMI touch screens, plus installation of remote monitoring devices on chairlifts

+ Responsible for training and guidance of Entry Technicians

+ Responsible for Low voltage control systems on lifts

+ Responsible for following Vail Resorts Safety and Risk management policies and procedures

+ Assures the lift Maintenance Manager is immediately informed and consulted on any abnormal or unusual conditions

+ Responsible for performing all routine and assigned maintenance procedures under the guidance of Maintenance and Senior Electronic Technicians

+ Responsible for recording all information of work performed on lifts and submitting to dispatch in a timely manner

+ Fabrication and maintenance of electronic circuits as required

+ Responsible for upkeep of system procedures and electrical schematics

+ Assist in the ongoing training and support of apprentices, and seasonal lift operations

+ Other duties as assigned

+ Work week is 4-10hr shifts



**Qualifications:**




+ Education: High School, GED, Associates Degree in electronics or equivalent work experience - required

+ Must have at least 3 years previous electrical experience - required

+ Must have a valid drivers license - required

+ Must have good computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel & Outlook-required

+ Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English - required

+ Knowledge of AC & DC Drives, AC & DC Motors, up to 900 HP, Knowledge of PLC control systems and HMI's (Allen Bradley, Pilz, ABB etc) - preferred

+ Must be able to work at heights of up to 100 Feet - required

+ Must be able to lift and carry up to 100lbs

+ Must be able to use Hand and Power tools, trucks, Snowmobiles, Digital Meter, Oscilliscope etc. - required

+ Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as required
